Co-parenting Through the Coronavirus Pandemic

The arrangements for the care of children with separated families are often difficult to establish.

Within the current COVID 19 climate, the Government has provided clear guidelines as to who is to go outside and who is not.

The latest guidance provided by the Government which specifies that “When parents do not live in the same household, children under 18 can be moved between parent’s homes” unless a specified justification, as provided by the Government is relevant to those parents, their households and children.

CAFCASS have provided a helpful guide for parents and families, to assist them in adapting to the change in our current way of life as a result of COVID19 and the Government guidance. This is attached for you to consider.

We are able to provide our services, where suitable, using remote video meeting platforms such as Zoom, Facetime and Skype. Please email us at enquiries@midlandsdove.co.uk or visit our website www.midlandsdove.co.uk for further information.

Going to mediation really helped my situation and sorted things out, I believe in a much quicker and easier way. The mediators I dealt with were very helpful in the sense of giving us all the information and making sure we understood clearly before making any decisions by ourselves
