Remote Mediation Services during COVID-19
In light of the Government’s latest update on COVID-19 and social distancing, we continue to offer and provide our Mediation services, using remote methods, which include offering MIAMS and Mediation sessions, with our experienced Mediators, using GDPR compliant platforms including ZOOM, Facetime and Skype.
We appreciate that the use of video meetings, is for some people, relatively new. We have been undertaking such meetings for some time, effectively. Our use of a variety of remote platforms, has been on a daily basis for over one month, during this pandemic, however, this is a service we have offered and undertaken for some time, prior to this. These meetings have been confidential and secure.
We have received numerous positive feedback from Mediation participants, who have used the remote video meetings with us including;
“Thanks so much for my appointment today. You really put me at ease. I wasn’t really sure what to expect with the Skype call. It was so easy to set up and so quick. Thank you again for all your support.”
“I had mediation assessment on 23.03.2020 by facetime.
I really recommend this kind of session. Everything was absolutely clear and understandable. We did not have any technical issues. English is my second language and it is much easier to speak face to face, also, our conversation by FaceTime did not bring me additional difficulties.
Very good solution especially in this difficult time.
We have developed numerous guides and adapted our policies and procedures to ensure that we are able to provide assistance and support to separated families, in using remote video platforms, to resolve their disputes, in a confidential and professional manner which is compliant with the standards established by the Family Mediation Council, Resolution and the Legal Aid Agency. If you would like to have further information from us in relation to our remote video working practices please do not hesitate to contact us at email@example.com
We appreciate that these are uncertain and unprecedented times.
If you wish to engage within the Mediation process now, be assured that we are offering Mediation services, us using remote video meetings, so please do not hesitate to contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org and our experienced co-ordinators will contact you.
